Family Life & Interests
I was born in 1955 and have been developing works of art in both Saskatchewan and Alberta for almost 40 years. My studio is located at 603 Poplar Bay on the south end of Pigeon Lake, an hour south of Edmonton, Alberta. I also do occasional work at my home studio in Calgary.

My upbringing was in Saskatchewan and I went to Elementary School (Rosemont) and High School (Luther College) in Regina. I then took my university in Saskatoon at the University of Saskatchewan. A one year contract as a teacher in Manitoba ended when I decided to move back to Saskatchewan and pursue a career in sports administration.

That resulted in a twelve year stint with Sask Sport Inc., first as Program Coordinator, then Communications Coordinator. It was at this time where I was given projects which would allow me to begin learning some of the creative tools I currently use. My graphic design/video production business started in 1989 in Regina.

I moved to Calgary in 1992 and worked in the communications field until 1999, when I re-launched Taylor Creative as an Alberta company.

I have continued my love of sport and have become a go-to graphics specialist with such groups as the Olympic Speed Skating Oval and national Speed Skating team, The London and Salt Lake City Olympic teams and Sport Calgary. I also created & designed the season ticket packages for the New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League.
From an Event Planning perspective, I have produced the Calgary Booster Club Sportsman of the Year Dinner for 15 years and from a purely technical side I am a nationally certified coach in two sports and have won provincial championships in both.

In 2008, I began re-exploring my artistic side.
